*sigh* My fault. Xorg had added man pages for these commands, so we shipped them when we built out of the X11R6.x Xorg trees, but in the modular release (7.x) Xorg just points to Mesa, which is missing man pages. I copied over the man pages from 6.9 to our workspace when we did the transition, but into the man page section in closed part of the tree for some reason (oops!).
