I doubt that helps you, however I'd mention that there are a variety of Mozilla browsers - firefox, Sea Monkey and others. These browsers compete for being number one choice in some way and can intefere with each others settings in some way I forget. So if you have difficulty logging into yahoo with Firefox, see if you have any other Mozilla-based browsers. One of them might intefere with Firefox logging into yahoo. But NOT with the stand-alone yahoo messenger doing so. TO see if any browser is a mozilla one have it open and open the 'about SeaMonkey or etc firefox or whatever it is ' option under the firefox, sea monkey icon in the menu bar Sorry I can't give a technical explanation. If it's any use anyway! If you only use Safari, a macintosh-made browser, all that doesn't apply anyway. There is a browser based messenger you can use, a little primitive but it works: Google: "Yahoo!
