You can make yourself whatever age you want to be in your profile and that should show up as your age in the profile summaries in the member lists of yahoo groups. I know some other social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook will automatically change your age on your birthday each year but Yahoo Profiles do not work the same way the last time I checked. With your YM open (or from other links from Yahoo websites), choose the main Messenger Menu, then My Account Info. Your age that is showing up in Yahoo Groups as part of a summary of your profile should be the age that you edited onto your profile.
