This is an individual comment. I need the approval of Tony and Pete
for YAM to work on 5321bis.
John Klensin submitted draft-klensin-rfc5321-numbered-00 in December
2008. There is also a pre-evaluation I-D,
draft-ietf-yam-5321bis-smtp-pre-evaluation-05, that lists the issues
(see Appendix B).
Could you please read those two I-Ds and post a list of proposed
changes for 5321bis that are not listed in the pre-evaluation
document to the YAM mailing list? If anyone else would like to
propose changes for 5321bis, please do so.
Please note that I cannot guarantee that 5321bis will be published as a RFC.
