Naganarasimha G R commented on YARN-4162:
-----------------------------------------

Hi [~wangda], few queries
bq. another choice is to keep REST API returns "", and web UI will replace ""
by a more meaningful label.
Though the consistency is not maintained i feel this is ok for now. so in the
webui i will keep it as it is i.e. *<DEFAULT_PARTITION>* but in REST will keep
it blank. Is that fine ?
bq. Since parent queue / application don't set this field, it is 0 for now,
which could be confusing to users.
I can understand for parent Queue but which *application* are you referring to?
IIUC there is no application information wrapped in {{ws/v1/cluster/scheduler}}
output. so are you referring to output of {{/ws/v1/cluster/apps/}} or
{{/ws/v1/cluster/apps/\{appid\}/}}. If so yes it also needs to be handled in
the separated jira as currently we are using ResourceUsageInfo only for users &
queue's.

> Scheduler info in REST, is currently not displaying partition specific queue
> information similar to UI

> When Node Labels are enabled then REST Scheduler Information should also
> provide partition specific queue information similar to the existing Web UI
