Wangda Tan commented on YARN-3216:

bq. This can almost match our usecase. and I feel I can file a ticket to handle
queue-limit computation for node partition. Thoughts?
We need it, but I think the problem is, we don't have an API for application to
get headroom for different partitions. IIRC, queue limit is used to compute
more precise headroom for application. We can add the queue-limit computation
for node partition after we have such API.

> Currently, max-am-resource-percentage considers default_partition only. When
> a queue can access multiple partitions, we should be able to compute
> max-am-resource-percentage based on that.
