ANC YOUTH LEAGUE STATEMENT ON VOTER REGISTRATION TURN-OUT The ANC Youth League in the KwaZulu Natal North Coast Region is satisfied with the positive and very much encouraging voter registration turn-out. This is despite the light rain showers that are being experienced in most parts of the region. As the ANC Youth League, we appreciate the efforts of the members of the ANC who went door-to-door in the recent past weeks encouraging the general public to remember to verify their registration status or register to vote for the 2009 National and Provincial elections, come this weekend. The ANC Youth League calls on each young person of South Africa to make it his/her paramount task to ensure that at-least 5 fellow young people are registered for the 2009 elections, regardless of political affiliation and orientation. For the future belongs to us. We appreciate the adequate ensurance of service delivery by the IEC, particularly in our region. As the ANC Youth League, we shall continue beyond this weekend to ensure that we shape our future positively by encouraging our fellow citizens, the young in particular, to register at the Municipal Offices with the Electoral Officers based there.
