Claire, you also have not taken into account the entire thread, and in
particular the quote I gave from "Value, Price and Profit" by Karl Marx.
One could also quote Lenin, from "What is to be Done". For example,
*here<http://amadlandawonye.wikispaces.com/1902,+Lenin,+What+Is+To+Be+Done>
*.

Their point is that everything is "determined" by capital, unless the
working class is determined to make a revolution. They argue in favour of
the leadership of the revolutionary party. They argue against believing
in spontaneity.

You seem to be promoting an idea of a gradual upturn in a sort of
"Revolutionary Confidence Index", like the Business Confidence Index. You
seem to be hoping that this "Revolutionary Confidence Index" will reach a
"tipping point" where revolution will automatically occur. Please by all
means correct me if I am wrong to get this impression from what you have
written on this thread.

When a task is mastered, anyone needs a more challenging task to face. The
working class has mastered the task of negotiating wages and conditions. Now
it must set its sights higher. The articulation of such new tasks needs the
agency of the revolutionary party. That is what it is for. Now is the time
to discuss such goals.
