Cdes i believe that we are slowly losing the plot here, lets establish the facts here from the myth workers have a full right to strike and engage in a legally protected strike which OUR CDES IN THE UNIONS have done, WORKERS DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT to in their strike act in a violent manner such as to harm other non striking workers which in my opinion most workers have honoured that agreement of being peacefull, and worhers have a right to decent living as its part of a right to life.and the way i read the SANMVA statement i thought that this organization only just wanted to establish peace and normality as isaw them speaking about a worker right. the only thing that worried me was them saying " Given our honorable background, it will thus be a failure on our part to sit by and watch whilst the people’s right to life is being trampled upon." and further saying "We therefore call upon union leaders to urge their members to stop harassing and intimidating those who have not yet joined the strike or are working because they understand the meaning of life and their duty to provide essential services to the toiling masses our country" i think that i agree with SANMVA cdes that the right to life is a very special and important right but i really want to understand what does the above quotes mean cdes? does it mean physcial interaction? does it mean that our veteran organization now is ready and willing to fight workers. I would strongly warn against such a move and i would boldly say it cdes. *IN THIS COUNTRY AS IN MANY COUNTRIES YOU CANNOT GO AGAINST WORKSER AND WIN especially especiallyy in a vilent manner *so the idea of war will only lead to more damage than good. So i strongle suggest that the gorvenment should go back to the boardroom with the unions and urge both parties to find common ground. And i really dont understand why cdes we must also call the SANMVA boys and girls i really think that we should try to stay on course here cde Sipho, IT IS ABSOLUTELY EARLY FOR US TO SPECULATE UNLESS cde u know why this soldiers qualify to be called boysa and girls. And cde dominc i do get ure point on the composition of SANMVA but my point is that we should all agree that "The struggle continues" like cde Sipho has said and workers are in no mood to settle for less than the best offer that much i agree. but in as far as violence is concerned my leaders i really dont agree. Unless if it should be in the form of self defence from those who want to attack our beloved parents who earn peanuts.
