Cdes, this statement by NW SACP is problematic and lack genuine content. How
do you reduce campaign for the movement to the individuals. The local
government elections are not about the PTT but genuine struggles of masses
at grassroots. This cheap politics have no space in democratic society
espaused by the ANC. In actual fact this what we call politics of
opposition, which as genuine SACP members we should reject.

On record there is no project 2012 in the ANC but a programme towards
centenary, which the party should be at the forefront to define the agenda
the ANC should persue going forward.

To some of us who are sober and not some rented cabalist, we take strong
offense to this tendency, the very same tendency that lead us to loose WC.
There seems no different between the party in NW and the DA.
If we are serious about the influence towards 2012, ours should be leading
forces in ANC branches and through this antagonist tendencies. Hence when
earlier I was remarking on Kaiser critique of Masondo, I said he is not
principled because he accuse David of being devisive, while he is a chief
devisive strategist in NW. This statement just confirms this tendency.

Back to the issue, the revolution or the path towards attainment of the NDR
cannot be reliased by a devided alliance. Our ideological disposition should
guide those that do not understand the end-state. We can only achieve this
by putting discipline and unity above our individual egos.

The local sphere is the delivery vehicle for the change we so dearly need.
It cannot be compromised by our subjective and selective analysis of the
root cause in NW.

We will like cdes to give the ANC space to deploy cadres who are equal to
the task at hand. We should as party members make sure that those BBGMs are
able to deal with the issues affecting the province.
To give the ANC ultimatum is nonsensical to the vanguard task of the SACP.

Lastly, the ANC does not need to be told who should lead the election
machinery. As much as the party does not account to the ANC, the ANC does
not account to the SACP but the masses that it leads in its quest to
transform society.

I might be called names, but I remain true to the course of transforming the
economic landscape for the betterment of humanity.

I remain.

SACP NORTH WEST PROVINCE’ STATEMENT ON THE ANC PROVINCIAL CONFERENCE
Saturday, December 18, 2010

The South African Communist Party in the North West province is
seriously disturbed by the indefinite postponement of the Provincial
conference of the ANC.

As the SACP we view the postponement as another tactic of trying to
ensure that the Provincial Task Team (PTT) is able to control and
influence the province towards the 2012 National elective conference
of the ANC – consistent with the 2012 project agenda.

We are equally aware that the PTT is making sure that not all regional
conferences are completed so that they are not removed from our
province until they achieve their aim of ensuring that the province
supports the election of their own anti communist leadership, come
2012.

We are therefore calling on the National Executive Committee (NEC) of
the ANC to either make sure that by the time we go to the Local
Government elections in 2011, we do not have the PTT but a
constitutionally elected structure of the ANC in the province or it
removes the PTT – failure which we are not going to campaign for
unconstitutional structures of the ANC for the elections.

And this is not a cheap or empty threat but a clear strategic
decision– considering the factionalist manner in which the PTT is
managing the politics of the province.

We further calls on the Communication department to immediately remove
the head of news in the SABC in the North West province as it is
obviously assisting the PTT to disorganize the Alliance in the
province in general and the ANC in particular.
