The delaying of the Provincial Conference will seriously affect our preparations for local government elections.
I am an active branch member in Rustenburg and I can confirm that most if not all branches are focusing on the congresses than on elections. We have BTT,but they have not met in a while. Holding the congress before end of this year would have allowed branches space and time to prepare for elections. I also think the decision to deploy Cde Thandi was impromper as it has potential to divide the organization. Any changes to the Provincial Government leadership should have been informed by a Provincial Congress resolution.
