There is nothing wrong with delegated power as those can still be revoked. You see as long as the NEC see it fit for the PTT to continue it will do so. The problem with what the party in NW is raising is that they choose to see themselves as more party members and less ANC members. Because if cdes were active in branches, they will influence towards BEC seeking a seating of the Provincial congress, I think cdes knows that a 1\3 branches call for motion which will then be debated. Now when you are outside do not expect miracles.
The issue of factionalism is a subjective matter and only structures of the ANC should be given space to deal with their problems. If there are problems with the PTT, let branches write to the NEC about the paralysis caused by the PTT. It is only through this process that the NEC will give a clear ear. This positional tendencies of cdes telling us they will not campaign for the ANC is nonsense and by the way there is nothing correct in that assertion. Hence, I'm saying the Party in NW is behaving like opportunism from within, which cannot be tolerated. This views are very similar to a bo-phuma singene or else we won't campaign. There is no idoelogical point in this view. A true cadre of the left will deal with ideological disposition of the people and proposed ideological solution that is rooted in theory and practice and not some noise-making. NW is a special case, hence interventions by the NEC of the ANC and can alliance partners be complimentary and supportive to the interventions. Its only when we work together or from within that we could save our masses from rotten ills. But anti-ANC tendencies will be defeated at all front. I still to be told here is a PTT member who has done this devisive tendencies and then let discipinary actions be taken. Gossips are anti-revolutionary and such they lack substance. The ANC is clear on the conduct of every leader it deploy. The PTT will cary-on as long as the NEC feel that the required threshold has not been met. The very same power that lead to Supra's PEC to be desolved are the very same power that the NEC is exercising. There was a Regional Congress in Bojanala this past weekend, which is a milestone towards a Provincial Congress. As to why insunuations about the bonafides of the PTT is at question here is something, we do not understand. Further, this tendency of teretorial politics is problematic. The ANC is universal and as such issues of the posture of 2012 ought to discussed in the province without any fear or favour. Why are true communist worried about an anti-communist agenda from the ANC. The SACP does not owe its existence to the ANC and the ANC does do the same to the SACP. Our vanguardism role ought to ensure that the dictator of proletariat is entrenched in the working class consciousness, such they understand the path to take in the struggle to destroy pro-Capital, State, which by definition we all know that the agenda of the rulling class becomes the dominant on in society. Cdes, our remains udeological and not some personal ambitions. Socialism is realistic and logical to take society out of the current crisis. Cde Tom Mutshidza On Dec 20, 2010 9:03 AM, "Thabiso T.
