Newspapers will always add a sensationalist stance on any story hence the headlines about Cele being GUILTY. I think comrades should appreciate the issues raised by the Public Protector on issues of governance as underpinned by the Constitution. There were clear vilolations of key aspects of corporate governance by all parties involved both SAPS and DPW. I am not sure why the medis focus is only on SAPS (Cele) as DPW clearly violated its own procurement guidelines. I just hope that as a country we will give the necessary support to such institution to investigate matters without fear or favour. If Cele, Mhlangu-Nkabinde and others disagree with the findings of the Public Protector I am sure that are resourse mechanisms in law to challenge those findings.
