What exactly was the point? I guess the suggestion of "some links aren't organized in a cognitively optimal way". There was no suggestion of how they might be organized better. It was as far as I could see criticism without a constructive offer. If it was expected than why the post in the first place? It's not a complicated site in the first place, links are named with what you would think they were and the layout is about as simple as you can get. If your going to say "thats not right" or "I don't like it" then you should have an explanation of why it's bad and why your way will help everybody.. Figure in Fitt's law or something else to that effect. How is your way going to help everybody?

From this computer I don't see any mouse over popup text as to what the links are for. It might help everybody if there was a short TITLE definition of what the link was for.. Maybe the computer I'm at is dumb.. or maybe having to use IE is the problem with the mouse overs, I can't tell. But if there was a mouse over definition of what the link is for it would help some people and certainly couldn't hurt anything.
On another note I've read over the about page several times and it gives sufficient enough explanations of anything I've ever wanted to do, with one exception, That being daily blog posting is not an official feature.. That's pretty straight forward too. At least it works at the barest minimum I would need it to. Anything else I just read here..

This discussion have gone way beyond what my posting was about. I never
said del.icio.us was hard to use or understand. I just pointed out that
some links aren't organised in the cognitively optimal way.
Comments of the type "I'm not confused" and "pay more attention", while
expected, misses the mark completely, and can safely be ignored. (Which
is what I was doing until this whole thread got started.)
In short, I think we can put a lid on this discussion, since I'm sure
the del.icio.us staff has already gotten the point. That is unless
anyone has anything to add to Todd's excellent suggestions.
