MARKET TODAY Market is likely to open flat to positive aimed mixed cues from the Asian markets. US stocks surged overnight after Federal Reserve decision to an economic recovery also add positive sentiment to the domestic market. The latest data is expected to a show a further fall in inflation which will keep rate cut expectations intact. However, concerns about the slowing Indian economy and lower US index futures may cap the upside.
According to data released by the NSE, in the last session, FIIs were net buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 482 crore while sold index options worth Rs 139.89 crore. They were net buyers of stock futures to the tune of Rs 78.72 crore while sold stock options worth Rs 40.80 crore.
