Hmm...

I don't think that a firefox-devel package would be necessary, if even useful. Mozilla-devel is what contains the gecko codebase & etc that can used in other applications, such as the help viewer or openoffice.org. Currently all (well, the integration of firefox into fedora and other distros may change this in the future) packages use the mozilla-devel package if it needs html rendering capability.

The fact that all I did was 1) download the fedora source rpm, 2) install the SRPM, 3) Replace the 1.0.1 source tarball with a 1.0.2 source tarball, and 4) make the binary is a testament to that.
