Perhaps, if we went with the idea of an explanation screen before the
partitioning screen, then that could be explained? Something like mandatory
is root, swap recommended on machines with less than 512mb ram (or 1gig).
Then optional home etc and indicate what advantages there could be with a
seperate home partition - e.g reinstalling allows you to keep stuff in the
home partition if you have one....
I would suggest only root is mandatory. On my main system, I try to avoid
swap - I have 1gb ram and have never used the swap there. Even on this
laptop, with 768mb, I don't see swap being used. For those who are involved
in heavy graphics work - large photo manipulation for example - even 1gb ram
may not be enough, so possibly mentioning swap for those users may be good?

There are a few minor English issues - capitalisation where not required,
occasional spelling mistakes etc. Nothing serious, but to get a professional
look, that will need sorting.

Overall, the new YIS looks nice - it will be good to see it live :)
Not sure I personally like the large YIS composed of dots on the pages - but
that is just me perhaps. Other than that - it looks great especially the
partitioning section as I mentioned :)

Some great feedback for you so far from people Chaks - good idea to ask a
novice for their view Reid.
