Not mandatory. I can rant all day about why you should have swap, but the
bottom line is only root should be mandatory. We should give the freedom for
the user to create a poorly configured system ( ext2 / only ) or a well
defined system with multiple partitions, filesystem types, swap, (someday LVM
and RAID). As long as it boots. And even then we should not let users
configure a system that does not boot without warnings.

Yes, after thinking a lot and getting suggestions from others, i think we should make Swap as Optional and only Root partition as mandatory. I will change according to that in YIS Gui.
