As Tobias mentioned, it does seem to be a partitioner issue. On my own test, I found the same problem - if you simply partition the drive using another distro, Yoper 2.92 will happily install. If no pre-prepared partitions exist, it simply crashes out of the install and attempts to reboot. So the problem does seem to be confirmed as the partitioner.
