Thanks All. I don't know how I managed to delete it. Probably with one too many confused mouse clicks. I may very well be that I accidently renamed it too, which probably should not be allowed if it's an important category.
In any event, renaming Errands to Junk and recreating Errands seems to have solved the problem.
