It does work very well - in parts.
Two major issues I have encountered:
I cannot connect to the server when I am outside the local network. In
Entourage, I just put in the name of the server that OWA is accessed
from and Entourage works. I can't get mail to connect this way at all,
even though it has separate entries for internal and external servers
in the accounts settings.
There is no support for public folders. For me, this alone would be
the killer preventing me from using it instead fo Entourage. Hopefully
this will be added in a future update.

Are saying snow leopard does a really, really good job of
integrating with Exchange. I have my copy but have not had the time
to upgrade and do the comparison. Anyone on this list tried using
mail and ical with exchange? I’ve seen reports that it works. But
nothing on what it takes to move from Entourage to mail/ical. I
guess calendar would be automatic from the exchange server, but I
have gigs of old mail that I’d need to move.
So if anyone has actually made the move, and can report on the
process of switching, I think there are a lot of people interested
in hearing how that went.
