United offers downloads of .vcs files when I make travel recommendations. Although Entourage can open them, I can't set Entourage as the DEFAULT application for opening them. The "open with" submenu always suggests iCal as the default, but offers Office Outlook on my (suspended) VMWare virtual machines (XP Pro and Win 7) as alternatives.
In the open dialog there's a box to check that says "always open with," and I select Entourage, but that doesn't affect what happens the next time I try to open one of these, nor does it add Entourage to the submenu (I need to select Entourage from the Applications folder each and every time I try to add one of these to my calendar. Am I missing something?
