I¹m experiencing a very unusual behavior on Entourage now and am looking for ANY suggestions on how to correct it. >> SYMPTOM: Every time I download email messages, I get an error message for every single email message saying, FILE MICROSOFT ENTOURAGE WASN¹T FOUND. I then have to click on the OK box for every message in order to continue.
ACTIONS I¹VE TAKEN SO FAR: 1. Ran Database Utility to compact my Entourage database three times. 2. Rebuilt the database twice. The first time, the rebuild process did indicate the database was corrupted. But, after rebuilding it, it indicates the database is fine, but I¹m still getting the error message with every incoming message. 3. Deleted all Entourage preference files. 4. Restarted the computer. 5. Verified the ownership of the 4 Entourage database files and they all look fine. 6. Started Entourage by double clicking on the database file that worked fine, the the error message continued. There are no other issues with Entourage. It appears to work fine, except for the errors messages every time I download. I operating on . Any ideas? Should I try reinstalling the entire Office suite?
