Hi, Recently I had similar problem with Entourage. When I tried to export mails to an RGE file or when I tried to rebuild database it always stopped at 2GB. At that time my database size was over 5GB.
I thought the problem was the size of the database but I noticed that I had one mail folder with 15000+ items in it. I created multiple folders and moved the mails to different folders with maximum 5000 items in one folder. After that I was able to export it to RGE file and rebuild the database successfully. I do not know what is the limit of items in one folder but it looks like Entourage cannot manage 15000+.
