For last few months when I have gone to try and rebuild my database it always fails, it goes through all the motions fine, but always just hangs at the end and then I have to do a force quit. Then my database is also bigger than before, it will do a 'compact database' and reduce file size, if I do a verify it now says I need to rebuild. Anybody any suggestions please, I do repair permissions frequently, and have tried it first thing in the morning after the machine has just come on? Database size at the moment is about 2.6gig
