I cannot prevent "members" from using the 'individual message feature' to send
emails to selected other members; I can only prevent them from sending message
to the entire List. That's why it's critical when you do receive this kind of
dubious stuff from the "List" (it will look like it's coming from the site, but
it isn't - it's coming directly and only to you) that you let me know ASAP. The
longer you wait, the tougher it is for me to rectify...
Doing my best to keep the List a place where you can safely hang your hat, and
let your Frank Flag Fly!

It is probably not the fault of any member - if this 'new' group operates
as described. The List members most likely signed up not knowing, and the
grouply hijacked their address list.
But, I have been thru all of the message posts this year (whew!) and the
following members messages are now moderated (meaning they have to go thru me
before they get to you) - either for the Grouply crap, or for other
questionable posts:

Sorry if this has been posted before but it needs to be repeated.
An online group called "Grouply" asks you to register as someone on
this group has "invited" you. Don't do it!!! It requires you to give
them your yahoo id and then it takes complete control of your yahoo
account and starts spamming everyone in your address book. It is
relentless and will make a lot of enemies for you.
