I've inspected /modules-2.6.38-r4-c7x0.tgz and the modules are there. Sadly, those do not appear in the rootfs produced by OE...in /lib/modules/2.6.38.5/sound there is only /sound/core and soundcore.ko I'll see how this is happening..
