Thanks, guys. I'm much better off now. I'm going with Chris', feels much smoother than what I was doing, though I liked the M slice turns of Bob's, but I forgot to mention why I want to stay away from the double layer turns. I'm also using COLL for the 2x2x2. I know it's not going to be optimal, but it's just a diversion so a few extra moves isn't too big of deal. Thanks again.
