I can't find the quote but I read somewhere a thing like:  

Greed without self is compassion. 

Anger without self is energy. 

Ignorance without self is wisdom. 

But twisting up your mind with fury will not help anyone. Quick confident 
action, and a great open awareness to the reality of the child is wanted for 
that sort of situation.
