Knowing is irrelevant and immaterial. You must act.

The best plan is to practice hard and reveal true compassion and wisdom NOW so
you don't continue to mess things up. This may take a while.

There is no substitute for this.

Doubt, and a dubious attitude about the reality of this development is/are
self-limiting, and probably juvenile, or else give too much regard to the
intellect, and to "slacking". Bad prospects, there.

Have you really practiced?

The only way to know "which is which" is do do ALL your homework, and have a
specialist work on you, too. Zen-teacher, i. e.

In any situation, if you don't act spontaneously, just as wisdom arises, you
are deluded. Heaven help the recipients of the force of your actions under
those conditions. Ouch. It's an all too common lament.

But if you mean "don't know" because there's no TIME to "know" in the
millisecond of time between when wisdom arises and when action (compassionate
action, we call it) is tendered... , then all is right with the world.

I won't ask; I just hope it's the happy ending, instead... for you and for all
beings. It's not too soon to begin practice, or to continue, BTW. Am I being
presumptuous?

Are you with The Program? Realization and understanding is not a matter of
"the brain", and no one can fake it ...all of you-all, out there. When it's
the real thing, of COURSE there's no knowing. Gimmee a break, Jim. ;-)
