Merle,

Elderly (!) is one thing, but happily experienced is another.

I thank my lucky genes -- and my Chinos -- for keeping me intact. I am exactly
some 60 Earth years and a month old, plus some handful of days. "3C" in the
hexadecimal number system.

More than one way to Tango.

They keep adding "leap-seconds", though, so who knows HOW old, or experienced,
we, any of us, are. ;-)

Merle, I have nothing but gratitude toward Catholicism: I'm glad I was not born
a WASP. I loved all the messing around in the Church. No, not the illicit
sex, never saw THAT, but the attention on "Saints", Rituals, and especially the
High-Mass *incense*. ;-)

I was never a drug-user, don't get me wrong. Thank God.

I just liked that scent of frankincense and Myrrh. Now, I grow Frankincense
trees at my desert home in Arizona. And Bodhi Trees. And a second-generation
Moon Tree, from a parent which was grown from the seed of a Sycamore (London
Plane) tree which had gone to the Moon on Apollo 14. All in the family. I've
made paint-brush handles for my use in painting from the Moon Tree's sticks.
To inspire my Space-Art, ...or my woodworking.

Granted, I have Romantic appreciations, besides the fundamental Zen ones. This
is called Humanity. Neither one nor the other, but both are preferable,
please. Culture, and its neutral foundation.

Listen; priests not marrying is not my concern, and has to do with
property-rights. You want to get involved with that? I leave it to any brave
soul. Buddhists also went this way 500 years earlier (!), and counting... .
Except the modern Japanese, polluted by Protestantism after the Meiji
Restoration (call it a restoration).

Shakespeare was vulgar, yes! Or, somebody else of the same name. ;-)

Many blessings!,

Love, your bro'
