Interesting background/orientation/profession you have, there, Kris.

work are personally important and moving to me; I have never taken
them as marketing features, but those considerations might be
important if there were economic motivations. I am a hobbyist and one
who likes to keep his skills sharp, along with my chisels and irons.
Say, speaking of one-offs, coincidentally I've today just put up two
pics of a one-off made at home, here, another item using some
Australian Lacewood, _Cardwellia sublimis_. Something to be used by a
Roshi, or other floor-sitting teacher.
