Joe, My complaints about the Dalai Lama are many, but in fact most of them are really complaints about the way the media portray him. I documented many of them a week or so ago so won't do so again unless you really want me to. One of my biggest peeves was that he acted as both political and religious leader of Tibet and in doing so supported many nationalistic actions, but he has just recently (6 mos or so?) relinquished the political leadership position, so that might be a moot point now.
