I don't see Zen as an art, but as a flavorless shelf or support beneath all
taste.
And as our original nature, before we had, or have, any personality or
limitation, or name. You can still experience this!
Zen practice, on the other hand, is anything *but*.
Zen practice is akin to the definition of "Art", given by Picasso:
"A lie that reveals the Truth".
