Pumping Nylon here too, Bill.
First instr. was Cello, recently!: Took it up at age 48, none too soon.
Guitar followed. Steel-string; Electric; Spanish; then, Flamenco.
Initially, I hated the guit. tuning, but now I see the point. So many STRINGS,
though!, while four serve gloriously on the 'cello. I like cello because it
has the range of the Human voice.
I mean, I know no one who has the range of the Violin, after about age 9
months. ;-)
Guitarists know nothing about horsehair, unfortunately. Unless they ride.
Nor about Pernambuco.
