Joe, That's not my interpretation of what Da Liu meant by being strong. It's just the opposite. However Da Liu was prone to occasional satire...
The word 'strong' is widely used in martial arts to mean exactly that, strong in practice and chi. It doesn't refer to purely physical strength...
