This one illuminates, "for an awakened person, there IS no self, and that for
the awakened person, there is nothing that is not his (true) Self".

Merle,

Leave it to these Mortals, to look a gift-horse in the mouth!

(they raise a dust, and complain that they cannot see; they
receive a Cheesecake, and complain it is rich for their blood!)

It's not a Trojan-Horse, don't be afraid of Content.

(When you practice with it, you make it as short as you need to. There's an
abundance of resources in a koan because you never know what is going to light
someone's Dharma Candle. This is as it's been throughout history: I am not
trying to stand out, nor to fit in).

A koan case looks like this. We've seen none from Edgar.

So I have taken a dancer by the arms and gone out onto the floor. I like the
sawdust out there... I am at home.
