Bill!, It's just a book of words by some favorite teachers and friends.
Sometimes I get lonely for their company. This book contains something of their teaching, their delivery, their very voice, their wisdom, and kindness. They could as well be talking about Baseball, and I'd still like their spin. ;-) See the Table of Contents: Among the 40 or so writers, you'll recognize some teachers whom you know, including Koryu Roshi, and Maezumi; Chozen Bays, and John Daido Loori; etc. It's a bit of a scrapbook, or Family Album. A lot of those teachers are gone, now; including my own main teacher, Sheng Yen, and Patrick Hawk, who conspicuously did NOT contribute a manuscript. ;-) --Joe > "Bill!" <BillSmart@...> wrote: > > I looked at the synopsis of that book, but even before I did I was sure it > was not a book on 'Mu'.
