"Wu wei, I think, in the Chinese.  Non-doing; not-doing; unintentional action.

Wu li would be something like "Physics".  It's a different "Wu", and is not 
"not", as the Wu in Wu wei.  We miss out on the Tones, when we transliterate 
without Mandarin tone markings.  ;-)
