where there is hope of a dollar

folk are there with their mouths open wide and their palms greased ready to
take...

be it zen or be it blow jobs..

.that is the nature of the beast as it stands today..

Chris, and what is that?  The fact $120 is a lot more money than you'd have to
pay for a blowjob?

No, not really.  Zazen doesn't really remove our actual physical existence, and
for many people, paying money to a person perceived as more wise is a much
different experience, no doubt based on our primate biological karma, than
giving a blow job to a person perceived as more wise.  I personally would not
recommend a center where people routinely were asked for blow jobs by the
teacher to anyone.  I would also probably not recommend a center where
everything was free; I find the standard (in my experience) of having suggested
fees to cover costs but no one turned away to work well.

Perhaps you are one of those people that would rather give a blowjob than pay a
fee, but most generally people aren't like that.
