Greetings:
Can anyone bring some sense to this set of characters "'" that appear
quite frequently in posts on the digest. I suspect they originate on a
cell phone or tablet, but am not sure how they should be translated into
recognizable symbol/symbols.
I do not know how many of you receive the digest, but if folks would
trim their posts to what they want to say instead of sending all the
previous posts on that subject it would help me at least make sense of
what is going on. One post had recently had ">" six of these suggesting
that it had been repeated six times + the original. I do understand that
repetition for emphasis is of some value, but I am not that dense even
if I am getting on in years.
