Charles,
I'm with you about fish, and let's go scan a menu somewhere and chat over a
lunch or dinner.
Folks here all seem to read and post in different ways. I read and post solely
and exclusively on the group's website, and I neither receive emails from the
group nor the daily or weekly digests. This suits my ways the very, very best.
Others here are more mobile and make good use of that technology.
I try to be judicious in trimming previous quoted posts from my current
replies, and try to leave the minimum that I am actually replying to. This
does not suit everyone however, and there has been discussion and outcry about
the matter, here. On the other hand, the more mobile posters I think
appreciate receiving less overall quoted material because the additional bulk
eats up data allotment of a monthly contract bill, I suppose. Every little bit
hurts, ...especially when it doesn't help.
Somewhere is a happy medium: a Fortune-Teller with a smile!!
By the way, the group website is a fine resource, because you can access Files
and Photos and Attachments there, as well as all posts ever posted back to Day
One, about 14 years ago. PLUS... you can search on keywords or strings for
occurrences of the words in posts, and read those posts online. A fine service
and archive!
Again, good seeing you on board, Charles.
