Thinking like the rather old machine and programmer that I am for a moment, I 
note that 39 is the ASCII code of/for an apostrophe.

And, updating myself I see that "&#39" is the HTML Entity Code of the same.

I'm glad the 39 is carried over, or I'd be lost; and Jack Benny would NOT be 
amused.
