joe...what the hell does this mean?...see a snip of your post below

i'll have you know in many circles here in the down under land, americans  are
not number one on the hit parade...
the war mongering, the obesity,  inability to achieve a universal medicare,
your lack of welfare support for the unemployed, the tea party mob...
the catch cry: god bless america..as if there are no other nations or people's
elsewhere on this earth, does not sit well..

so how the hell can you tell me americans are more advanced in the practise of
zen?... american style zen?

i may have this all upside down and back the front..
however it erks me to constantly be hearing america.. "america the land of the
free" when you have 40 million living in poverty...
and the  right to carry guns..(how absurd)... it's not the wild west
anymore!!!!!... you've "killed off " all the indians

yes that's politics, yes that's your economy...and nothing at all to do with
zen..
ok but don't give me the dribble that americans are more advanced in zen..

have you done a survey?..where is your statistical evidence that this is so...
don't just make it up and believe us the "stupid " ones who bumble along in our
zen like struggle ... except to stand up and listen..absurd..

to me zen is getting to the nitty gritty.a bit like bingo..i got it...a flash
of lightening...
i have expressed before that sitting in dusty halls  reeking of incense on hand
woven cloth cushions  and holy than holy zen folk..is no different than any
other "institutions"...
it does not always cut the mustard so to speak..
'one may find that enlightened, bingo moment... when one least expect ...
it's something akin to the christian "grace" if i may be so bold...
well anyway that's my take on it...and proven otherwise i'm sticken to it...
at my age of 67..time is a running out..
i'll be joining the many carcasses they cut up at the medical school for
research and teaching purposes...
and i say what's more zen than that for a dead person..
enjoy your day ..
