It was just an analogy. As far as we know we are unique in having the ability to transcend following blind instinct. You might be able to point to the rare case of an animal displaying compassion etc. but it won't be repeated over and over. Humans can and do. Continuously pointing to examples of war, greed etc. doesn't hide the fact that as individuals and as a society we *can* transcend these base emotions/acts if we're so inclined.<br/><br/><br/>Sent from Yahoo!
