Mike, I forgot to address one of your other questions...
I don't have much respect for the Dalai Lama so don't get me started on him. I also don't have any special respect for people to retreat to mountains or forests, especially for the rest of their lives. That's too easy of a path - or maybe it's one of the rest areas I talked about in an earlier post.
