Ryunen,

The last time I went to a Buddhist Temple and asked the monk "What is Zen? What does that mean for life?", he only replied me "What do you think?".  He gave me a lot of books for me to read but most of time, I like to learn from observing, listening and most of taking time in self-reflection and thinking.

In the past few two years, I have been though another wave of painful and chaotic change in life.  The painful experience urged me to apply the thinking/analytical/refreshing approaches again.

The Zen meditation is tough for an extroverted person like me, but Dao Yin Qi Gong helps to unblock the tension on my body so I can further ease the tension of my mind.  Start to build a positive circle The Dao Yin Qi Gong exercise I do everyday helps me to sense the flow of energy and the power of making decision of when is the time to put myself (meant pride, ego, possessiveness.....etc), down and simply focus on the moment of relaxation and energy.

My thought was very straight forwards and simple ----- what can I do if I don't have a good health, starting from a good balance between mind, body and energy?

Agnes,

I don't remember if you have said you have found a sangha or teacher yet. How is it
that you are learning about Zen? It sounds like you have been sitting for a while.
