temples in the middle east, they probably blew them up
with the 1500 year old statue of Buddha. Are you referring to a couple of years ago when Pakistan's enlightened Government ordered that all Buddhist Statues be destroyed? I had thought that military activity had been halted after a few of the oldest and most revered Buddhist Shrines in Pakistan had been desecrated or destroyed? Sounds like Pakistan could use a few friendly Buddhists.
