Dear Ryunen-san,

Shakaymuni original enlightenment is in fact the same as our own
original enlightenment or face. It is not that he was the first to
discover it, it was that the was the first to reveal it to others. It
has been the practice ever since for each of us to reveal our "original
face" (in the eastern sense of face not to mean just our physical face,
but rather our way of being before we "saved face" "gained face" or
"lost face"). Original in this sense means from the origin. Not first or
exclusively first.

I always hate it when we get down to discussing semantics. Words are so
inadequate when it comes to this.

Be Well
