Dear Rod,

Do not kill, this is the first precept. Yet you want to kill this self I 
cannot see. You see this self as more than a pile of impressions.

It just changes with time and season. A little pruning might be in 
order, but a farmer does not kill his crop till it is ready to harvest.

Haul your bag of bones out to the meadow, and play among the flowers. 
Shape the self into something that can dance in the autumn leaves,
Then just let it play.


Better yet, use this self for something worthwhile. Make me a cup of tea.
