Dear Rod, Do not kill, this is the first precept. Yet you want to kill this self I cannot see. You see this self as more than a pile of impressions. It just changes with time and season. A little pruning might be in order, but a farmer does not kill his crop till it is ready to harvest. Haul your bag of bones out to the meadow, and play among the flowers.
